Jaipur Nagar Nigam was established in year 1904 under the 74th amendment act. It chiefly and primarily works and functions according to needs of people and citizens all around the city. Jaipur Nagar Nigam or Nagar Nigam of jaipur is municipality of this city in state of Rajasthan.
There are eight major zones divided, they are as follows:-
- Vidyadhar Nagar comprises ward number 1, 8, 9,10,36,37 and 62 to 70.
- The area of motri dungri consists wards number eighteen and twenty six to thirty five
- Cilvil Line comprises wards number 2 to 7, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20 and 38.
- Area of eastern Hawa Mahal consists ward number forty four to fifty one and fifty five to fifty seven
- Mansarovar comprises wards number 11 to 14 and 21.
- Hawa Mahal West comprises ward number 39 to 43 and 58 to 61.
- Area of sanganeer consists wards number twenty two to twenty five
- Area of amjber zone consists wards number 52, 53 and 54.
